Technology Coordinator: DOE (Permanent) + Health Insurance or Annuity Sick & Personal Leave TFFR if certified teacher. Purchase, maintain, and repair all technology equipment  for Flasher Public School District including computers, IPADS, Chrome Books, Active Boards, projectors, switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, and servers. Purchase all software required to run the technology.  Assist with Power School passwords for students, parents, and staff and set up all student & staff passwords for assessments programs such as NWEA MAP, NDSA, AimsWeb, and ACT.  Help monitor and facilitate all on-line and ITV courses. Assist with school web page and substitute teacher portal (Frontline) as well as district SLDS permissions.
Some teaching a possibility depending on teacher certification.

 

Superintendent: Depends on Experience (Permanent) + Full Family Medical Insurance 10 sick days 3 personal days 10 vacation days District pays 3% of employee’s side of TFFR
Flasher Public School District is in an academic co-op with the Roosevelt Public School District at Carson, ND.  Flasher has K-12 grades and Roosevelt has K-8 grades.  Flasher gives Roosevelt superintendent services and Roosevelt sends its 9-12 grade students to Flasher High School.  Roosevelt also co-ops with Flasher in elementary and Jr. High sports and activities.  The districts are 16 miles apart.  The Superintendent spends 80% of his/her time at Flasher and 20% at Roosevelt.  Flasher has 235 students and Roosevelt has 53.

Candidates should have knowledge and skills regarding district budget and finance procedures; policy implementation; facility maintenance and security; school & community relations; district transportation; Board-staff-student- administration relations; supervision of non-certified staff; and academic programming development and implementation.

Final salary and benefits package will be negotiated with the successful candidate and determined based upon experience and qualifications.
