Teachers

 

  • 7-12 English Teacher beginning August 2025
  • K-12 Special Education Teacher

Compensation:

  • Base Pay for 24/25 year $42,200 (25/26 not set yet)
  • 15 sick days allotted in year 1. Ten days each year thereafter.
  • 3 personal days each year accumulated to max of 6.
  • Full single policy paid by district or other options available.
  • District pays 3% of teachers side of TFFR

Custodial/Maintenance Position

Flasher Public School is hiring a full-time custodial/maintenance worker.

Duties included:

                1 cleaning of school. To include classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, locker rooms, gyms.

                2. Helping with set up for events held at the school.

                3. Outdoor maintenance assistance when needed.

                4. Other duties that may arise.

Compensation: Dependent on experience
Hours: full-time 11am-7:30pm during school year. During the summer hours will change to 8-4:30pm.

School Maintenance Position for 25/26 school year

Preferred candidate would start as soon as possible to be trained in.

Maintenance duties for building and grounds and other duties as assigned.

    • Inspecting the school premises regularly to identify issues requiring maintenance and repair
    • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment and building systems
    • Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and disinfecting areas as needed
    • Ensuring all utilities, such as electricity and water supply, are in good working condition
    • Setting up rooms or halls for school events and activities
    • Maintaining and repairing school facilities including classrooms, restrooms, athletic fields, and playground equipment
    • Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of protective equipment
    • Removing snow or other hazards from walkways and public areas to prevent accidents
    • Keeping records of maintenance and repair work
    • Responding quickly to emergency situations and executing evacuation plans if necessary

     

      Compensation

      Maintenance $21+/hr depending on experience

      Qualifications

      Proven work experience as a maintenance worker or similar role.

      Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

      Experience with hand and power tools.

      Physical strength and ability to perform hard manual labor for extended periods.

      High school diploma or equivalent.

      Valid driver’s license required. 

      Ability to attain a CDL with Passenger/School bus endorsements

      Transportation Mechanic for 25/26 school year

      Preferred candidate would start as soon as possible to be trained in.

      Duties will include maintenance of district vehicles to include busses and vehicles.

        Compensation

        Mechanic $39+/hr depending on experience

        Qualifications

        Proven work experience as a maintenance worker or similar role.

        Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

        Experience with hand and power tools.

        Physical strength and ability to perform hard manual labor for extended periods.

        High school diploma or equivalent.

        Valid driver’s license required. 

        Ability to attain a CDL with Passenger/School bus endorsements
