To be considered for any of the positions below an application form (can be printed at bottom of page) must be completed and received by the Flasher School superintendent as soon as possible and must contain the following:

Teachers

Compensation:

  • Base pay for 25/26 year $43,200
  • 15 sick days allotted in first year, 10 days each year thereafter
  • 3 personal days each year accumulated to max of 6
  • Full single health insurance policy paid by district or other options available
  • District pays 4% of teacher's side of TFFR

Bus Route Drivers

Flasher Public Schools is currently looking to hire two school bus route drivers for the 2025-26 school year. Interested individuals can contact school superintendent JR Wilson at the school 701-597-3355 or via email at jr.wilson@k12.nd.us with questions.

Assistant Cook

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and serving daily meals following USDA and school nutrition guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and cafeteria
  • May wash dishes, sanitize food prep areas, and handle food waste properly
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and storing food supplies
  • Work cooperatively with the head cook and other school staff
  • Help create a positive dining experience for students

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior food service experience desirable but not required—will train the right candidate
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to complete required food safety training and background check

 

Schedule & Compensation:

  • 6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, following school calendar
  • Hourly wage based on experience and qualifications
  • Position begins mid-August to work on planning with the Head Cook
