Hello! I’m Mrs. Schafer, the Science at Flasher Public School. I grew up in Linton, ND but graduated from Republic, MO. I then attended NDSU for a degree in Business Administration. After starting work with Flasher Public School as a Title I Para in 2013, I chose to continue my education through Valley City State University to receive my degree in Business Education. I later became certified in Science in order to teach Science at Flasher Public School. In 2022, I obtained my Masters of Education in Secondary Biology and in 2024 I completed my Masters of Education in Secondary Chemistry from Western Governors University.

This is my eighth year as the Science teacher and I look forward to continuing to utilize our beautiful new school and laboratory! We will conduct several labs as well as dissect several species. I will focus on a hands-on curriculum in order to reach all levels of students and truly bring science to life.
